Playing Catch Up!

OK, so lets see we have been very busy, we spent Easter in Rochester and Jacob went to the Zoo for the first time! We have 21 new baby chickens that arrived last week. We have been to Maine and back for my graduation. Jacob has visited with many of our friends. Daddy and I got to go out one night while G-ma Johnson watched the little guy! Mommy finally talked Daddy into buying a new truck that I can ride in! Daddy shot another Turkey on opening day! We have been sick repeatedly, thanks B-Wood! And the most exciting news is that Mr. Jacob walks all by himself and I am beginning to wonder why we rushed this! So here are a few pics of what we have been doing while I have been slacking on my Mommy blogging duties!

BAD MOMMY!

I am a very bad Mom, I have taken pictures but I haven't posted any of them! I am in the home stretch of school and I promise to be back in action soon. Jacob is doing great and started walking on his own on April 20! He is a happy camper lately and talks up a storm. Some of his favorite words are dada, mama, tractor, dirty, no, cat and dog.

The Johnson's are traveling to Maine next week to visit the Wurtz's and to graduate. I say it like we are all doing it because if it wasn't for Tom's help I never would have gotten this far! He truly is an amazing Dad and husband. I will post pics when we return.

By the way the chickens arrive the second week of May! That should provide some entertainment on here!

GUESS WHAT!!!!!!

Jacob pooped and peed on the potty this morning!!!!! He had no clue what he was doing but he did it!! YEAH, I wonder if we can keep this going, I think it is beginners luck.

That's what Jacob's doctor told us about his ears when we went this past week. What a relief it seems like we have had one long ear infection since he was 9 months old. I think Bassett will be able to put on an addition with the amount of money we have spent on antibiotics and co-pays. Thank God for decent insurance!

No walking on his own yet, but who needs to walk when you have your own 4-wheeler or better yet 4-whaler like Tom used to call it when he was a kid!

A visit to Rochester and another B-day Party!

Well we had a very nice trip to Rochester for Jacob's first B-day party. He got to meet many relatives he hasn't met and others he has only met once. He did a great job entertaining everyone especially when he was eating his cake. Here are some pics from his party.
